Wings of Memory

Traditionally our Tailwheel Meet fly-in supported by a patron. This ‘task’ is usually given to an individual and / or organization that in one way or another, makes important contributions to our flying heritage by making it accessible to the general public ... and keep these planes actually flying.
Patrons in previous editions were:
Eric Vormezele (Vomezele collection), Jan Voeten (Flying wires), Guy Valvekens (Schaffen-Diest fly-in), Danny Cabooter (Stampe Museum), Raymond Cuypers (RAR), 369 Sqn, ...

This time we exceptionally opted for an organization, Wings of Memory, which is not so much concerned with aircraft itself but with the flight crews who gave their lives on Belgian soil during World War II for our freedom. The relentless efforts of WOM members to honor these crews have been the main motivator to honor Wings of Memory with the patronship of Tailwheel Meet 2015.

Keep up the good work guys!
